Additional information for the weekend.
We have decided that we do not wish to allow pupils to take mobile phones with them on the weekend. We will use our text2parents system to send messages to you at times during the weekend. We also have a list of your emergency contact numbers should we need to contact you. The contact number for the Abernant Hotel is listed in the handout I distributed to pupils earlier this term. These details will be posted on the school blog.
We would also ask pupils not to bring iPods, mp3 players or any other electronic devise such games machines as the staff cannot be held responsible for them and we would wish you to respect our request to avoid any
Please can we remember that we set a limit of £5.00 spending money for the weekend and that this needs to be in change.
As the weather will be very hot can I ask you to provide your child with a hat and sunscrean to avoid sunburn.
I hope that this clarifies some points for you and I am confident that the pupils will enjoy the experience.

Wearing Red to work for Wales

Today we have been getting excited about the BIG GAME in Cradiff tommorrow. We asked everyone who wanted to WEAR RED TO WORK FOR WALES in support of the Rugby team who will be playing France in the Millennium Stadium tomorrow afternoon. If they beat the French team they will not only win the Six Nations Championship but complete a Grand Slam

Mr. Jones, the head teacher, also decided to join in as he always wears a suit when he goes to meetings and has special visitors, but also like to wear our school uniform to show us how much it means to us.
Those of us who are not so lucky to have a ticket for the match will be able to cheer our team as we watch the game on the television. Dewch mlaen Cymru .... Come on Wales.

Grand Slam weekend

To support the Welsh Rugby team in their quest for the Six Nations Grand Slam this weekend we are going to "Wear Red for Wales" on Friday 16th March. Pupils can wear anything red, although there is no need to purchase rugby shirts especially for this. The Canteen Staff are also preparing a special lunch menu for the day. Let's roar Wales on to a Grand Slam Gelli style.
